Rev. Patricia has spent all her years in serving the Lord, right from her youth. For over thirty years now in the USA, she has served in so many churches and ministries and held various positions in different departments.
Reverend Patricia Aladekoba accepted the Lord as her personal Savior when she was in middle school in 1977. She was an ardent member of her school’s Scripture Union, when she was back in her home country of Sierra Leone. Born a Wesleyan Methodist, she eventually joined the Pentecostal church, where she experienced the in-filling of the Holy Spirit and began serving faithfully.
Rev. Patricia has spent all her years in serving the Lord, right from her youth. She has been a praise and worship leader, a prayer warrior, Good Women’s secretary, Sunday School teacher, Head of hospitality, cleaning and church upkeep worker, Pastor’s assistant, Pastor’s secretary, Women’s leader, etc.., just to name a few. She is still serving in Christ Throne Ministries as a Reverend, the Women’s leader and every other capacity as the Lord leads.
Rev. Patricia Aladekoba’s professional career has spanned several disciplines. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Romance languages, French, Latin and Linguistics from Fourah Bay College, in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She received her MBA, with honors, from Strayer University in Washington, DC, in 1998, and has also received a second Masters degree (MA) in Pastoral Counseling and Spiritual Guidance from Loyola University in Baltimore, MD in 2008. Before attending Loyola University, Rev. Patricia attended the Arlington Baptist Seminary and College where she took courses in Religious Studies and obtained a certification in Religious Studies. Whilst she was doing her Masters in Pastoral Counseling, she interned as a Chaplain at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. She was also a member of the board of the Ethics Committee at GBMC. She was a member of the Spiritual Advisory Board for the Greater Baltimore Medical Center for Spiritual Support Training. She is a certified Temperament Counselor and a Creation Therapist, certified to administer the Arno Profile System (APS). She is a certified Professional Clinical Member of the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA) and a certified Pastoral Member of the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling. She is currently enrolled as a Doctoral student.
She has a strong knowledge of foreign languages, including French, Latin and German. She is proficient in teaching within a challenging educational environment and has a solid understanding of urban families and developing community partnerships. She has a deep knowledge of various instructional challenges and projects with an immense ability to work on desktop and laptop computers. She has a vast knowledge working with databases and software applications. She has worked on various programming languages and computer platforms. She has a remarkable ability in handling and working collaboratively with a variety of people and is excellent in oral and written communication skills.
Rev. Patricia Aladekoba has worked with Baltimore City Public Schools as a French teacher. She is currently working with Baltimore County Public Schools and works as an Adjunct Professor in one of the colleges in the Maryland area.
Rev. Patricia was ordained an Evangelist with Christ Apostolic Church, WOSEM, in 2008. She was ordained a Pastor with Christ Throne Ministries in November 2010, and in November 2018, ordained a Reverend.
Rev. Patricia Aladekoba is the Vice-President of Christ Throne Ministries and the leader of the women’s group of the ministry. She has a mandate from the Lord’s to raise up “determined” women for Him – powerful women of God, who are focused, resolute, and nothing stands in their way; fearless women who like Esther can say, “…and if I perish, I perish” (Esther 4: 16). She is a woman of faith who loves the Lord. She is a prayer warrior. The calling of God on her life is to be a full-fledged teacher and minister of God. She also loves to cook, write, travel, read, dance, pray, and watch plays, or movies. She is a ‘determined’ woman of God.
